Masonic centres can open as warm spaces for freemasons, families, and widows
December 17, 2022
As we approach Christmas and look forward to 2023, I am mindful of the challenges we have faced in the past, still face in the present, and will surely face the future.
Whilst the pandemic seems to be behind us, the virus is still with us, and is likely to be something we must live with in the future.
Economic pressures are affecting everyone at present and, as Freemasons, we are grateful for the support available through the Masonic Charitable Foundation to those who desperately need help or assistance.
Yet, despite the challenges, our Lodges and Chapters can meet without restrictions, allowing new candidates in both Craft and Chapter to experience the wonder and mysteries of our ancient fraternity which keeps us all bonded together in happiness and enjoyment.
Based on the quality, enthusiasm, teamwork, and positivity of the brethren and companions I meet around the Province, I am very optimistic about the future of Freemasonry in Lincolnshire; the very special organisation to which we all belong.
I am sure that 2023 will bring fresh challenges to be overcome but, I am equally sure, many happy times to share together. As always, I hope everyone can spend time with their loved ones over Christmas and the New Year and, in the heart of winter, to be safe, happy and warm together, looking forward to the year ahead with renewed vigour.

So this is Christmas, And what have you done, Another year over, And a new one just begun
And so this is Christmas, I hope you have fun, The near and the dear ones, The old and the young
A very Merry Christmas, And a Happy New Year, Let’s hope it’s a good one, Without any fear
