New Year, new help with attracting and retaining Lodge members
January 2, 2024
It’s true. Every time you go to a supermarket, a football match, or simply walk down the street, you’re likely to be in the company of a Freemason.
We don’t look any different from ordinary people, but there’s a little something that sets us apart. It’s the desire to learn more about ourselves, and to make the journey of personal self-discovery in the company of like-minded, supportive people. In the going we like to help others in our communities, perhaps by volunteering our time, or perhaps by giving money to sustain the work of others who are doing just that.
People like us have been doing what we do for more than 300 years, proving the strength and value of our organisation and what it stands for.
Perhaps you’re the same as us inside; someone who wants to make themselves into a better person, and and would benefit the support of similar people with whom to learn how to do it. Explore the ‘Becoming a Freemason‘ section on our web site, or send an email to our Provincial Membership Officer pmolincs@gmail.com to have an exploratory discussion. There are about 3,000 of us in Lincolnshire; members of 76 Lodges meeting in 21 centres. There’s sure to be one near you.
Any if you’re a woman, don’t feel left out. Women have their own community of Freemasons, and have done for more than 100 years. They meet in Lincolnshire too. Explore their web site here.
