Second Freemasons’ membership seminar draws in the crowds

Freemasons from Grantham, Sleaford, and Bourne have learned that every second counts when a defibrillator is used to help someone experiencing sudden cardiac arrest.
They were involved in a training course run by instructors Matt Tancred and James Maynard, volunteer educators from LIVES. Trevor Johnston, who organised the event, said: “The training lasted for nearly two hours, and all who attended thought it was excellent and very valuable. LIVES are doing an amazing job; they are literally saving lives.”
There is a defibrillator outside all 21 of the buildings in which Freemasons meet in Lincolnshire, North Lincolnshire, and North East Lincolnshire, available for use by anyone should the need arise. All of the machines are kept in full working order by LIVES volunteers.
